How can Media's Intervention with Architecture Invent an Alternative Reality?
At the outset of this project, I had no intention to create a final built form, only to let the project be driven by the research question - and seeing the eventual outcome at the due date. The site is Wellington's Civic Square, opposite the waterfront and surrounded by iconic city buildings. Using the site as a catalyst and forms of media as re-representations, the project starts to take shape - with a certain humour to it all, each week setting the pace for the next.
The end result is a bit quirky, a bit whimsical and yet possesses a degree of realism.
